Esta semana nos volvimos a encontrar con una situación que podría haber terminado en una tragedia. En la Primaria 24 de Villa Elisa, una maestra, Estela, sufrió la caída de una ventana en su cabeza mientras daba clases, lo que podría haberle costado la vida. Esta realidad que se vivió en la escuela es solo la punta del iceberg de una situación realmente crítica en la mayoría de las escuelas de la ciudad de La Plata. Durante la pandemia las escuelas vivieron un deterioro por falta de mantenimiento, apenas se han hecho arreglos muy menores, cosméticos, pintura, cosas por el estilo, pero el deterioro es enorme, producto de un abandono por parte del gobierno nacional, provincial y municipal, que no pone plata en Educación y sí prioriza el pago de la deuda externa y acordar con el Fondo Monetario Internacional.
El día martes, mientras daba clases, se le cayó una ventana en la cabeza a Estela, maestra de La Plata. Me comenta que quiere visibilizar su situación para que se sepa del estado de abandono educativo y el Estado haga algo para que se arreglen todas las escuelas. Las escuelas de La Plata están llenas de problemas gravísimos, por ejemplo hace diez días que hay solamente dos horas por turno en el Belgrano (Media 1, de calle 9 y 38) porque hay dos baños que están rotos y no se puede garantizar la asistencia plena. Se viene reclamando y no hay ninguna solución por parte del Estado. En la escuela Vergara (Secundaria 14, de 35 y 4) el piso de arriba no se puede utilizar porque hay peligro de derrumbe de los techos por la falta de mantenimiento durante toda la pandemia. Y en la Secundaria 22, de 520 y 138, todo el edificio de atrás no se puede utilizar por la falta de luz y por lo tanto venimos haciendo una rotación de la presencialidad donde cada un mes algunos chicos tienen clases y otros no, atentando directamente contra los derechos de los estudiantes a una educación pública, de calidad y con presencialidad, con todo lo enriquecedor que es la presencialidad, en el sistema de provincia donde la virtualidad prácticamente no ha existido debido a la falta de conectividad y condiciones económicas para afrontarla.
Estos ejemplos son solo algunos de escuelas muy grandes que hay en la ciudad de La Plata que contienen cientos y cientos de estudiantes y que se vienen haciendo los reclamos por parte de los directivos, por parte de los delegados gremiales, pero cuando uno reclama en el ministerio de educación de la provincia, le echan la culpa al consejo escolar de que no ejecuta los presupuestos que le dan, y cuando uno va al consejo escolar le dicen que el ministerio no manda el dinero, es decir que entre Garro y Kicilof se patean las responsabilidades pero lo que hacen finalmente es no hacerse responsables de lo que deberían hacer que es arreglar las escuelas, mantenerlas en condiciones y garantizar el derecho a la educación.
Desde la Lista Multicolor del Suteba La Plata venimos movilizándonos infinidad de veces durante estos dos años, elevando los reclamos de las escuelas, haciendo relevamientos y exigiendo al Estado que ponga plata en Educación como corresponde en base a medidas anticapitalistas para afectar a los grandes grupos económicos y deje de estar desesperado por ver cómo arregla con el FMI porque eso solamente va a profundizar el ajuste. Este abandono educativo ya nos trajo la tragedia de Sandra y Rubén que fue un crimen social por la desidia del Estado bajo el gobierno de Vidal y ahora esa desidia está profundizada por las condiciones de ajuste que venimos sufriendo todo este tiempo.
Los salarios son bajísimos y los compañeros en las escuelas están teniendo que trabajar dos o tres cargos y en la conversación cotidiana en las escuelas se refleja este cansancio y superexplotación, los niveles de estrés laboral que están habiendo son enormes y por eso estamos exigiendo que los trabajadores, los docentes y los auxiliares tengamos un salario mínimo de 100 mil pesos por cargo para poder volver a trabajar un cargo sin jornadas extenuantes de más de ocho, diez o doce horas por día, compañeras que trabajan tres cargos, que entran a trabajar 7:30 de la mañana y se van a las 9 de la noche, y por otro lado estamos exigiendo que los docentes que trabajan en el plan +ATR cobren verdaderamente como corresponde y que se termine con el trabajo precario de estar en situación de inestabilidad laboral porque ese salario se les termina en marzo. Estamos exigiendo la continuidad laboral para todos los cargos +ATR porque hoy en día es muy necesario el trabajo y la tarea de acompañamiento y revinculación pedagógica que hacen estos docentes.
